Other Projects
As a freelancer I have worked on several projects in a variety of fields creating inovative solutions while working crossdisiplinary. Here are some examples of my work.
This is a unpublished project that I did back in 2016, when VR was fairly new.
I used 3d scanned artifacts from the Oseberg ship grave from 834 that where provided by the museum and combined it with photogrammetry scans that I have made.
The solution did not require any controls and was as easy as possible so that it potentially could be used in a museum setting with loads of visitors.
Oseberg VR
This was a project developed for Fredrikstad Museum as a part of their timeline exhibition under the charge of Ragnar Windahl.
The idea was to create a time machine for kids where they could experience how their forefathers where living through small stories. The machine is controlled by a wheel that you can turn and go back to the time period of your choosing.
I was responsible for developing the software running the machine, the visual effects and sound design as well as the mechanics connecting the wheel to the computer that was running the whole thing.

The Snartemo Sword
This is a physical sword I made for the National Museum of Art in Norway and is a reproduction of a 6th century sword for the exhibition Power and Magic.
It was made by 3d modeling the hilt, 3d printed and cast in bronze.
This was made back in 2015 and got a fair amount of publicity, especially since using 3d printing to recreate artifacts was a fairly new thing. Here is one article from cnet.
This project combined my spare time hobby of traditional craftsmanship and you can see more examples of my work here.

This was a 270 degree video made for Fredrikstad Museum together with Adriane Vinter Brennmoen showing a battle between Denmark-Norway and Sweden on the 8th of July 1719.
The video is shown on three walls while the audience is sitting in the middle and our goal was to create an experience that puts them in the midst of the battle with cannonballs flying over their heads.
Adriane Vinter stood for the drawing and VFX while I did parts of the animation and editing. It can currently be viewed at Fredrikstad Museum

Virtual production for Nerdforge
During the making of Nerdforges new studio I was responsible for setting up the virtual production solution using Vive Mars and Unreal 5.
The solution was showcased in the video about the build.
I have worked with video a bit before so it was cool to combine these with my game development experience. Also, who does not like Nerdforge :)
